AMR Safety Jam
The 10th annual AMR Safety Jam in Pueblo was held at the Lake Minnequa Veterans Memorial Park on June 1st, 2024. The community came out to see first responders, multiple booths, apparatus, music magic shows, food, skateboards and bicycles giveaways and more. Kids were able to paint the snow plows of the trucks from the Colorado Department of Transportation fleet. Denver Broncos legend Randy Gradishar was also at the event signing autographs and local Little Caesars franchise owner Dave Feamster was presented with the “Hometown Hero” award for all the great work he does in the community along with the Fellowship of Christian Athletes. Flight For Life and UCHealth LifeLine landed as well as the Colorado National Guard. Some of the agencies that were on hand at the event were Pueblo Fire Department, Pueblo Police Department, Pueblo County Sheriff’s Office, Pueblo County Park Rangers, Pueblo Rural Fire Protection District, West Park Volunteer Fire Department, Colorado Parks and Wildlife, City of Pueblo City Government, Colorado State Patrol, U.S. State Forest Service, Otero County Heath Department, CommonSpirit Mary-Corwin Hospital, United Healthcare and more.
