Residential Structure Fire

On April 9th, 2024 at approximately 11:00 Aurora Fire Rescue was dispatched to a reported residential structure fire at 15739 E. Mercer Place in the Mission Viejo neighborhood. Chief 4 arrived on scene and observed heavy fire at the front of the residence. Crews quickly extinguished the fire and were on scene about an hour checking for hot spots and mopping up. Firefighters were able to rescue two dogs from inside. No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
