Commercial Structure Fire

On April 2nd, 2024 at approximately 16:00 Aurora Fire Rescue was dispatched to a reported commercial structure fire at Domino’s Pizza, 4260 S. Chambers Rd. Dispatch advised responding units that the initial caller reported smoke in the building and that the business had been evacuated. Engine 6 arrive on scene and found haze in the store. Firefighters discovered the problem originated with the HVAC system. Crews were on scene about thirty minutes neutralizing the HVAC and checking neighboring business for signs of smoke. No injuries were reported and no pizzas were harmed as a result of this incident.
