South Metro Structure Fire

On December 16th, 2024 at approximately 01:15 South Metro Fire Rescue was dispatched to a reported residential structure fire at 14140 E. Progress Way in Arapahoe County. Units arrived on scene and found a working fire a single family residential home. Crews were on scene about two hours extinguishing the fire, checking for extension and ventilating the building. One person was examined by medics at the scene. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
