South Metro Vehicle Into Structure

On July 23rd, 2024 at 22:02 South Metro Fire Rescue responded to a MVA involving a structure in the 6000 block of Lima Way in unincorporated Arapahoe County. Engine 31 arrived on scene to a two-story single-family with a pickup truck into the Delta side of the structure and all parties out of the vehicle. Battalion Chief 3 arrived and assumed command in the offensive strategy. Rescue 34 arrived and utilized the winch to remove the pickup truck and then the crew worked on shoring the wall to prevent the roof of the garage from collapsing. No injuries were reported and the Colorado State Patrol is handling the investigation.
