On March 2nd, 2024 Arvada Fire Protection District held a in service ceremony for Brush 59 at Station 9, 9276 Wilkerson Court in the Candelas. A short ceremony was held with the Arvada Firefighters Pipes & Drums and remarks from Tracy Leyva, Donny Varra and Fire Chief Kirk Lock. A spray down was held and the in service push in to put Brush 59 officially in service for the district. Brush 59 is a Type 3 International HV507 4×4 / BME Targhee, 500 GPM pump with 500 gallons of water.
