Station 59 – Candelas

(District 53) Station 59 (Station 9) is located at 9276 Wilkerson Ct. near Candelas Parkway & Hwy. 72 (Coal Creek Canyon Rd.).

The Arvada Fire Protection District broke ground Saturday, April 24th, 2021 (more here: Arvada Station 9 Groundbreaking) and opened on Thursday, September 29th, 2022. The opening ceremony was held on October 8th, 2022 (more here: Arvada Station 9 Grand Opening Ceremony).

(E-0011) 2014 Pierce Saber (25506) 1500 GPM (Waterous) pump, 750 gallon water tank and 20 gallons of foam. Former Engine 51.

BRUSH ENGINE 59

Substation 9 – Candelas

Substation 9 was located at 15481 W. 93rd Place and opened in 2019. This station was part of an ongoing assessment for the Station 9 response time and call data. This station was closed in late 2021 and has been sold.

1997 Dodge Ram 3500 4×4 Type 6 75 GPM pump and 280 gallon water tank. Former Brush 1, Squad 4, Brush 53 and Reserve Brush.

(E-0010) 2011 Pierce Contender (24429-02) 1500 GPM (Waterous) pump, 500 gallon water tank and 20 gallons of foam. Former Engine 58.

ENGINE 59

(E-0011) 2012 Pierce Saber (25506) 1500 GPM (Waterous) pump, 750 gallon water tank and 30 gallons of foam. Former Engine 51. Became a reserve for a short time and then was reassigned back to Engine 59 in late of 2026.
