Aurora Vehicle Fire

On December 30th, 2024 at approximately 10:30 Aurora Fire Rescue was dispatched to a reported vehicle fire on southbound E-470 near 38th Ave. Units arrived on scene and found a semi trailer, carrying wood ships, on fire. Crews were on scene over an hour extinguishing the fire, mopping up and neutralizing a fuel spill. No injuries were reported and the cause is believed to have been from a flat tire.
