Aurora Trapped MVA

On January 20th, 2024 at approximately 12:45 Aurora Fire Rescue was dispatched to a reported motor vehicle crash on Parker Rd. at the intersection with I-225. Radio traffic indicated that an RTD bus was involved with multiple injuries and possible extrication. Police reported that a vehicle fleeing from a previous hit and run crash, ran into the back of another vehicle and pushed it into the RTD bus which was stopped at a red light. The drivers of both cars were taken by ambulance to a local hospital with serious injuries. Two passengers on the bus were also transported by ambulance for minor injuries. Northbound Parked Rd. was closed for approximately three hours while Aurora Police investigated the crash.
