Aurora Structure Fire

On July 12th, 2024 at approximately 20:15 Aurora Fire Rescue was dispatched to a reported residential structure fire at 16950 E. Wagon Trail Parkway. Dispatch advised responding units that neighbors were reporting smoke coming for a single-family residence. Firefighters arrive on scene, observed smoke showing from the eaves and made entrance into the home. Crews were on scene about forty minutes extinguishing the fire, checking for extension and ventilating the roof. Two residents were treated at the scene for minor injuries. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
