Colorado Springs Vegetation Fire

On July 13th, 2024 at approximately 13:20 the Colorado Springs Fire Department was dispatched to a reported vegetation fire behind the Knolls Apartments, 1510 Gatehouse Circle. Crews arrived on scene and found a moderate size fire on a hillside behind the complex. Firefighters were on scene over an hour extinguishing the fire and mopping up hot spots. No injuries were reported and no structures were damaged. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
