South Adams House Fire

On July 13th, 2024 at 20:07 South Adams County Fire Department, Adams County Fire Rescue and Platte Valley Ambulance responded to a structure in the 6400 block of E. 63rd Ave. in Commerce City. Ambulance 22 arrived to fire showing from the Delta side and all occupants were evacuated from the house. Engine 23 arrived to a working fire on the Delta side in a small single-story home and pulled 1 3/4 for fire attack. Engine 22 secured the water supply to Engine 23 and then pulled a 2nd line to the Alpha side and Tower 24 started the primary search. Battalion 21 arrived and assumed command in the offensive strategy. Crews worked heavy fire conditions inside the structure and the basement before getting the fire under control. There were no injuries reported and investigators are currently determining the cause of the fire. Additional information provided by South Adams County Fire Department
