Commerce City East 64th Ave Garage Fire

On February 17th, 2024 at 06:43 South Adams County Fire Department, Adams County Fire Rescue and Platte Valley Ambulance Service responded to a garage fire in the 6300 block of E. 64th Ave. in Commerce City. Engine 22 arrived to a fully involved garage, pulled a 1 3/4 attack line in for fire attack and secured their own water supply. Tower 24 arrived and assisted with the fire attack and primary search. Battalion 21 arrived and assumed command in the offensive strategy and assigned Engine 14 to pulled a 2nd line from Engine 22. Crews got the fire quickly extinguished and started the overhaul. No injuries were reported and the cause is under investigation. Additional information provided by South Adams County Fire Department
