On October 19th, 2024 the Denver Flame-Off Wing Eating Contest and held at the Buffalo Wild Wings, 7607 E. 36th Ave. in Denver. Denver Sheriff, Denver Paramedics and Denver Police Department competed in a wing eating contest to support “The Great Turkey Gaggle” by Excalibur Outreach, which provides Thanksgiving turkeys to families in need. Congratulations to Denver Sheriff taking first, second and third place ahead of Denver Paramedics and Denver Police Department. The Denver Fire Department was also was on hand for the event.
