Denver Structure Fire

On November 18th, 2024 around 07:00 Denver Fire Department was dispatched in the 1400 block of Kalamath St. for multiple callers reporting an abandoned apartment building on fire in the Lincoln Park neighborhood. First arriving units came on-scene to heavy smoke conditions from a two-story structure and quickly got to work locating the fire. Truck 4 positioned their stick on the roof and truck crews got to work quickly to ventilate the Alpha-Delta corner of the roof.  The fire was put under control and crews started overhaul. At one point during the fire crews had to deal with a unfriendly racoon. No injuries were reported and cause is under investigation. Additional information provided by Denver Fire Department
