Denver Brush Fire

On February 24th 2024 at 13:55 Denver Fire Department responded to a brush fire near W. 10th Ave. and N. Sheridan Blvd. Engine 20 arrived to a several brush fires along the Lakewood Dry Gulch Trail east of the Sheridan RTD Light Rail Station in windy conditions heading up to W. 11th Ave. and the response was upgraded. Crews got the fire under control and Brush 601 and Engine 29 remained on scene with mop-up and hot spots. No injuries and the cause is under investigation. Sheridan Blvd. was closed northbound during the fire operations. Additional information provided by Denver Fire Department
