Denver House Fire

On November 8th, 2024 at 13:15 Denver Fire Department responded to a reported single-family structure fire in the 4400 block of N. Winona Court in the Berkeley neighborhood. Crews arrived to a working fire with heavy smoke showing from a single-story home and started fire attack in the offensive strategy. Crews worked heavy fire from the attic area with flames through the roof. Firefighters had accessibility issues with hoarding conditions and the fire went defensive. The fire was put under control at 15:09. Two patients were taken to a local hospital with unknown injures. The fire started in the kitchen area before extending into the attic of the home.
