Greeley Acquired Structure Training

On August 26th, 28th, and 30th, 2024 crews from Greeley Fire Department on all shifts completed in service training at an acquired structure. This building is set to be torn down next month and in the mean time the fire department was able to use it as a training resource. Crews trained on First Due Engine Company Operations, Truck and Rescue Company Operations, Firefighter MAYDAYs, Ventilation as an Engine Company, and many other foreground operations. Crews were split up through the day in time slots to allow all companies to rotate in and out and keep coverage for the City of Greeley. The Eaton Fire Protection District was able to join on August 30th, 2024 and train with the Greeley fire crews.
