Front Range Attic Fire

At approximately 20:20 on December 18th, 2024 Weld County Regional Communications Center (WCRCC) dispatched Front Range Fire Rescue to a residential structure fire on Madden Ave. north of Hwy. 60 in Johnstown with auto-aid from Loveland Fire Rescue Authority and Greeley Fire Department. Upon arrival crews found smoke coming from vents in the attic. Firefighters entered the attic space and found several joists smoldering under insulation. The insulation was removed and the fire extinguished. No injuries were reported.
