Just before 21:45 on March 16th, 2024 Lafayette Fire Department responded to a possible home on fire on W. Simpson St. in Lafayette. Crews arrived to smoke coming from the home with a confirmed working structure fire and requested for additional units to respond. The fire was put under control and crews worked on overhaul. The home was unoccupied at the time of the call into dispatch. No one was injuries and the cause is under investigation. Additional information provided by Mountain View Fire Rescue
