Littleton West Bowles Ave Garage Fire
South Metro Garage Fire
At 23:50 on December 8th, 2024 South Metro Emergency Communications dispatched South Metro Fire Rescue to a possible residential structure fire in the area of W. Bowles Ave. and S. Julian St. in Littleton. Littleton Police Officers arrived on scene with a fully involved garage fire and confirmed that all occupants of the home had safely evacuated. Engine 11 arrived to confirmed fire showing from the Alpha/Bravo exposure in the 3400 block of W. Bowles Ave. and pulled 2 1/2 attack line for an exterior fire attack and Medic 11 pulled a 1 3/4 into the home for fire attack. Crews worked fire that spread throughout the attic space. The fire was put under control at 00:37. One firefighter was transported to a local hospital with minor injuries and was released. Investigators from the SMFR Fire Marshal’s Office determined that the fire was caused by the improper disposal of smoking materials. Additional information provided by South Metro Fire Rescue
