Engine 41 Dedication Ceremony
The Pleasant View Fire Department held a dedication ceremony for their new Engine 41 on September 8th, 2024 including a west down and push in to the put the Pierce Velocity engine in service. Engine 41 is the primary response engine to all calls within the Pleasant View Metropolitan District and also responds with a dual-response arrangement with the West Metro Fire Rescue to all calls at the Colorado Mills Mall and Denver West Retail area. Pleasant View Fire Department was established in 1948 as part of the Metropolitan District and covering 2.5 square miles in Jefferson County including the areas of Camp George West, Colorado State Patrol Academy, Denver West Village, parts of Golden and Lakewood as well as I-70.
