Refuge Day 2024

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service held their 2024 Refuge Day at the Rocky Mountain Arsenal National Wildlife Area in Commerce City on September 28th, 2024. The community was invited out to learn more about the activities and wildlife at the Refuge, meet with various staff members and check out their equipment. USFWS wildland firefighters and law enforcement personnel were among the staff on hand during the event. Colorado Parks and Wildlife and Denver Parks and Recreation also participated in the event.
