South Metro Structure Fire

On July 12th, 2024 at approximately 11:10 South Metro Fire Rescue was dispatched to a reported vehicle fire in the 19700 block of E. Fair Place. Engine 23 arrived on scene and observed that a milling machine, used to take up asphalt, had been on fire. Contractors working on the road were able to extinguish the fire. Firefighters were on scene about twenty five minutes checking for hot spots, looking for hazards and talking with the company about removing the machine. No injuries were reported..
