Sunshine Canyon Vehicle Fire

On June 18th, 2024 Sunshine Fire Protection District, Four Mile Fire Protection District, Boulder Rural Fire Rescue and American Medical Response Boulder were dispatched to the 1900 block of Sunshine Canyon for a car fire. Upon arrival of the first fire unit, it was learned that the car fire had spread to the grass and was moving uphill onto the City of Boulder Open Space and Mountain Parks property.
