Thornton East 125th Place Garage Fire

On June 26th, 2024 at 19:00 Thornton Fire Department, North Metro Fire Rescue District and South Adams County Fire Department responded to a reported garage on fire in the 5000 block of E. 125th Place. Thornton Communications Center advised that 911 caller reporting the fire is spreading into the main part of the house and all occupants were out. Engine 76 on scene of a two-story single-family home with light smoke showing and pulled a line to the garage. Engine 73 secured the water supply and Engine 75 started the primary search. Battalion 71 arrived and took command in the offensive strategy. The fire was quickly extinguished with no injuries and the cause of fire is under investigation.
