Weld County I-25 Grass Fire

On November 21st, 2024 at 12:15 Mountain View Fire Rescue and North Metro Fire Rescue District responded to possible grass fire along I-25 just south of Exit 232 (Weld County Rd. and north of Hwy. 7). Crews arrived on scene to multiple small grass fires off to the right of the southbound lanes of I-25. The fires were quickly put under control and out. Traffic was backed up as far north as Hwy. 52 during the fire operations. Additional information provided by Mountain View Fire Rescue and North Metro Fire Rescue District
