Under Construction Building Fire

On April 14th, 2024 at 16:31 West Metro Fire Rescue was dispatched to a possible structure fire at 8787 W. Alameda Ave. at the Colorado Christian University campus. Jeffcom 911 advised units enroute that multiple callers reporting fire from the roof of a building under construction. Medic 2 arrived to a working fire and Engine 8 started fire attack with Engine 3. Tower 8 arrived and started aerial ops to the roof. District 1 arrived and assumed command. Firefighters made quick work of the fire, containing it to the roof. The cause of the fire is under investigation. Additional information provided by West Metro Fire Rescue
