Windsor Structure Fire

On May 26th, 2024 at approximately 18:49 Weld County Regional Communications Center dispatched Windsor-Severance Fire Rescue with automatic aid from Greeley Fire Department and Front Range Fire Rescue to a residential structure fire in the 100 block of Rock Bridge Drive. Upon arrival crews reported a working structure fire on the Charlie side of a two-story residence and began an initial attack and found extension to the attic. They began roof ventilation operations over the garage and extinguished the attic fire. The fire was quickly marked under control and crews began rotating into rehab. They then began an extensive overhaul due to the location of the fire being in the attic. After the overhaul was completed crews covered the ventilation holes for the homeowners until a contractor can make the necessary repairs. UC Health EMS checked the vitals of all firefighters after the incident to ensure safety of each firefighter.
