Arvada Safety Day

Arvada Fire Protection District held their annual Safety Day on September 27th, 2025 at the Training Center, 6651 Indiana St. Kids of all ages enjoyed fun activities including fire apparatus tours, meeting first responders, live fire sprinkler burn demonstration, stuffed animal 1st aid station, bike safety, Colorado Division of Fire Prevention & Control home fire safety simulator and Flight for Life landing. Friends of Arvada Fire, Arvada Police Department, Dave’s Locker, Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office, Jefferson County Communications Center Authority (JeffCom 911), Jefferson County Open Space Park Ranger, American Red Cross, Arvada Community Emergency Response Team (Arvada CERT), SafeCare Colorado, Wheat Ridge Police Department and others were on hand with interactive safety booths and information about safety and emergency preparedness.
