Arvada Apartment Fire
On November 27th 2025 at 15:34 Jeffcom 911 dispatched Arvada Fire Protection District to a possible structure fire at 10917 W. 63rd Place with a reported bedroom on fire in an apartment unit. SAM 51 arrived to a large three-story multi-family apartment complex with a working fire from the 3rd floor. Battalion 53 arrived and assumed command and Engine 53 pulled a line in for fire attack to the fire unit and secure their own water supply. Engine 51, Medic 51 and Rescue 52 all arrived and assigned with the primary searches and Engine 56 assisted with the water supply. Truck 54 went to the roof on the Alpha side for aerial operations. A disabled tenant was located in one of the units and was carried out. A second person was located and removed from the first-floor, suffering from a cardiac arrest, but not related to the fire. The cardiac arrest victim was reviewed on scene, with further care is unknown. The fire was put under control at 15:50 and crews started overhaul in the fire unit. Four occupants were displaced in two units and four other units were also impacted. The fire cause is under investigation. Additional information provided by Arvada Fire Protection District
