West Metro Trapped MVA

On January 17th, 2026 at 10:04 West Metro Fire Rescue was dispatched to a MVA with extraction on Morrison Rd. at S. Carr St. in Lakewood. Engine 8 arrived to one vehicle into a wooden retaining wall with extrication needed. The occupant was extricated quickly with unknown injures and transported to a local hospital by Medic 8. The westbound lanes of Morrison Rd. was closed during the accident. The vehicle did not affect the telephone pole that was nearby. Additional information provided by West Metro Fire Rescue
