South Metro Vegetation Fire

At 13:30 on February 12th, 2026 South Metro Fire Rescue responded to a small vegetation fire at 1850 E. Highlands Ranch Parkway. Brush 17 arrived on scene to a slow moving brush fire along E. Highlands Ranch Parkway in flashy fuels and pulled a line for fire attack and Brush Engine 20 pulled their booster line in. The fire was held to 50’x75′ and crews worked on the mop up. No structures were threatened and the cause is under investigation. Additional information provided by South Metro Fire Rescue
