Denver Structure Fire

On March 1st, 2026 around 20:00 Denver Fire Department responded to a reported structure fire in the 4300 block of Cherokee St. in the Sunnyside neighborhood. Several master streams were deployed with heavy fire into the full structure with defensive operations and extending into another structure. Crews reported downed powerlines in the alley and Xcel was requested to the scene. No injuries were reported and the fire is under investigation.
