Fire Science Evolutions

On April 22nd, 2026 Adams 12 School Washington Square Fire Science students spent their third-day at the North Metro Fire Rescue District Fire Academy going through evolutions in the morning then live fires in the afternoon. Morning evolutions were SCBA maze, single-family residential search and rescue, advancing a 1 3/4 charge hose line to a stairway and down the hallway and positive pressure ventilation for an apartment fire. In the afternoon they worked on a live fire evolutions for fire extinguishment and search and rescue.
