Station 8 Community Event

On June 6th, 2026 Evergreen Fire Protection District held a community event with an open house at Station 8, 33377 Forest Estates Rd. in Brook Forest. Community members learned how wildland fires impact their living environment, how to protect their homes, how to be prepared, and how to stay safe should a fire start their area. Participants of the event were encouraged to take a tour of the fire house and of available fire apparatus. Coffee and doughnuts were provided. Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office, Jefferson County Sheriff Wildland Fire Management, Evergreen Community Wildfire Protection Plans (CWPIP), Xcel Energy, ColoradoWild and Clear Creek County Sheriff’s Office and others were on hand at the event.
