First Responder Car Show The Denver Police Museum and Denver Firefighters Museum hosted a First Responder Car show at the Northfield Shopping Center on September 6th, 2014. The Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office, Aurora Police Department, Denver Fire Department, Denver Police Department and the Mile High Hook and Ladder Club participated in the event. Colorado Firefighter Calendar Debut The Colorado Firefighter Calendar debuted their 2015 calendar at the Expo Event Center on August 8th, 2014. A capacity crowd turned out to watch the firefighters strut their stuff on the catwalk and help raise funds for charity. Proceeds from the sale of calendars directly benefits the Children’s Hospital Colorado Burn Center.

Lacrosse Scrimmage Family and friends came to watch and support local firefighters and service members at Mile High Stadium on July 4th. 2014. The lacrosse scrimmage was held before the Denver Outlaws game. The players battled it out for half an hour with a tie game being called due to lightning with 10 minutes left.
Annual Fishing Derby The annual fourth of July fishing derby and BBQ on July 4th, 2018 at City Park Lake on W. 104th Ave. hosted by Westminster Fire Department. Families and firefighters gathered and fished at the lake, and kids also competed for prizes for biggest fish and the first fish that was caught, and then enjoyed lunch.
