Station 11 – Twin Lakes

Fire Station 11 is located at 1675 W. 69th Ave. and opened in 2019.

This 14,000 pound elevator motor from the North Tower of the World Trade Center was donated to Adams County Fire Rescue and is now on display in front of Station 11.

On display inside the main lobby of Station 11 is the North Washington Fire District (Colorado) Engine 301, which is a 1942 Chevy / American / General Safety engine with a 250 GPM (Barton) pump and 250 gallon water tank. The engine was purchased in 1947 from the Army Air Corps from Hill Air Force Base (Utah), this was the North Washington Fire District’s first fire truck and was retired in 1976 to become their parade truck. Adams County Fire Rescue was formed by a merger between North Washington Fire District & Southwest Adams County Fire Protection District in 2015. Both departments were originally formed in 1946.

ENGINE 11

2020 Pierce Velocity (35153) 1500 GPM (Pierce PUC) pump, 500 gallon water tank and 30 gallon foam cell. Engine 11 went into service on March 19th, 2021 at 15:04. Engine 11 was out of service from 2024 to 2026 due to an accident on Hwy. 270 in 2024.

(273) 2006 Spartan Gladiator Evolution (2002EE2 – 5009) / SVI (Heavy Rescue) 250 GPM pump, 300 gallon water tank with a 9000 watt command light tower. Former Rescue 12 and Rescue 14. Former North Washington Fire Rescue (Colorado) Rescue 34.

(E46110) 2026 Ford F-550 4×4 Crew Cab Super Duty / Highway Products / SeaWestern – Ridgehound Model 1 Wildland Type 6 500 GPM (Darley 1.5AGE24K) pump, 300 gallon water tank and 10 gallons of foam (FoamPro 1601).

SPECIAL OPERATIONS TRAILER

The Special Ops Trailer is pulled by Utility 11 (U170). The Special Operations Trailer holds the shoring and tools for collapse rescues and is used when needed along with Rescue 11. Former North Washington Fire Rescue (Colorado).

Fire Station 11 was located at 7980 Elmwood Lane and is the former North Washington Fire Rescue (Colorado) Station 33. This station was replaced by a new station at Pecos St. between W. 69th Ave. & W. 70th Ave. in Twin Lakes in 2019 and became the fire Fire Prevention. In 2026 this station became Station 10.
