South Metro Fire Emergency Communications IDT
Dispatch Center
The South Metro Emergency Communications Center (Dispatch) is located at South Metro Fire Rescue’s Headquarters, 9195 E. Mineral Ave. in Centennial, which was established on January 1st, 2021. Formerly known as MetCom.
Incident Dispatch Team
The Incident Dispatch Team (IDT) was established in 2008 and is part of the South Metro Emergency Communications Center (Dispatch), which was established on January 1st, 2021 (Former MetCom IDT).
IDT 1
(1110) 2015 Ford F-150 4×4 XL, also ran as PIO 10 and then back to IDT 1.
IDT 2
(2271) 2014 Ram 5500 4×4 / Maintainer Custom Bodies (M239) Mobile Tactical Communications Unit (12′ walk-around) featuring ground control ToughSat 1.2M satellite, spot weather system with mast, fully enclosed slide-out workstation and dual Honda EU200i generators on slide-out.
