Station 38 – Cherry Hills Village
(Battalion 3) Fire Station 38 is located at 2460 E. Quincy Ave. Station 38 opened in January of 2013 and is operated jointly with the Cherry Hills Village Police Department (Colorado) as the Joint Public Safety Facility.

Station 38
Fire Station 38 was located at 120 Meade Lane and was built in 1979. This station was transferred to the City of Cherry Hills Village in 2013 after Station 38 moved into their new station.

(321) 1995 Pierce Saber (E9535) 65′ Telesquirt 1500 GPM (Waterous CMU) pump and 500 gallon water tank.
ENGINE 38
(3338) 2007 E-One Cyclone II (132403) 1250 GPM pump, 750 gallon water tank and 20 gallon foam cell. Became a reserve engine.
DECON 3
(349) 2013 International 4400 / Alfred Industries. This unit was previously stationed at Station 46 and moved to Station 17 and ran as Decon 17 and Hazmat 17 (SM3349).
HAZMAT 38
(3334) 2002 Spartan Gladiator / 1997 SVI (Refurbished) walk-in (Heavy Rescue). Former Hazmat 3. Hazmat 38 is a specialized vehicle that is operated by South Metro’s Hazardous Materials Emergency Response Team. The crew of Engine 38 staffs this unit when its needed for emergencies as in fuel spills and investigations of unknown or harmful substances. The Hazmat carries several types of protective suits, air monitoring devices, chemical reference guides and weather stations. Became Hazmat 17.
