Fire Station 8 (Station 38) was located at 120 Meade Lane and was built in 1979. Became South Metro Fire Rescue (Colorado) Station 38. This station was transferred to the City of Cherry Hills Village in 2013 after South Metro Fire Rescue moved the station to 2460 E. Quincy Ave.

1955 GMC / American Fire Apparatus (1792-5-55) 500 GPM (Barton-American / DMA500) (C107469) pump and 500 gallon water tank. Former Cherry Hills Fire Department (Colorado) Engine No. 1. Became Gypsum Fire Protection District (Colorado) and Artesia Volunteer Fire District (Colorado) before being retired.

1995 Pierce Saber 65′ Telesqurt (E9535) 1500 GPM pump (Waterous CMU) pump and 500 gallon water tank. Became South Metro Fire Rescue (Colorado) Squrt 38.
