Fire Station located at 4390 Eldorado Springs Dr, built in 1961. The original Station 1 was replaced with a new station at the same location in 2013. Became Rocky Mountain Fire District (Colorado) Station 6 and Mountain View Fire Rescue (Colorado) Station 9.

This water tanker is a 1950’s Army surplus truck with an American LaFrance fire pump. and was the districts first fire unit. Shown here running as Boulder County Parks & Recreation Department unit, and was nicknamed “Mean Green”.
