Glendale Volunteer Fire Department (Colorado) was formed in 1960. In 1974, the first paid Glendale firemen were hired and in 2004 Glendale Fire Department merged with Denver Fire Department.

Glendale Fire Department also went by the Glendale Fire/Rescue.

Glendale Fire Department was a member of the Tri-County Volunteer Firemen’s Association.
