Station 42 – Rifle-GarCo Airport

Fire Station 42 is located at 220 County Rd. 352A at the Rifle Garfield County Airport. Former Rifle Fire Protection District (Colorado) Station 2.

This is a wildland response station staffed by the Bureau of Land Management and the US Forest Service.

2004 Freightliner M2-106 / S&S Infinity Series (5486) (Tactical Tender) 500 GPM pump and 2000 gallon water tank with pump-n-roll capabilities. Former Burning Mountains Fire Protection District (Colorado) Water Tender 6241. Moved to Station 64.
