Fire Station 2 is located at 495 Apex Valley Rd. Former Central City Fire Department (Colorado) Station 2. This station has closed and became Gilpin Ambulance Authority Station.

2001 Pierce Saber 4×4 (11825) 1250 GPM (Waterou)s pump, 500 gallon water tank and 30 gallons of foam (FoamPro). Former West Metro Fire Protection District (Colorado) Engine 11. Became Engine 59 at Station 9.
