Station 58 – West Woods

(District 53) Fire Station 58 (Station 8) is located at 6385 Quaker St. and was dedicated in 2008.

BATTALION 53

Battalion 53 (Incident Command) covers District 53 and the Stations 57, 58, 59, 60 and 61. Former Fairmount Fire Protection District (Colorado) Battalion 30.

ENGINE 58

2025 Pierce Velocity (39839-02) 1500 GPM (Pierce PUC Midship) pump, 750 gallon water tank with foam (Husky 3). Twin to Engine 55 (39839-01).

BRUSH 58

(BR-0005) 2013 Ford F-550 4×4 Super Duty / BFX Attack One (12-40226) Type 6 190 GPM (Darley 1.5 AGE) pump, 300 gallon water tank and 20 gallons of foam.

TENDER 58

 1999 International / Pierce (10723) 150 GPM pump, 3000 gallon water tank and 3000 portable water tank. Former Fairmount Fire Protection District (Colorado) Tender 31.

Former Fire Station 8 & Maintenance was located at 6651 Indiana St. and now serving as the Training Center only, with a 99-seat Amphitheatre. Station 8 was donated to the district by the City of Arvada and put into service January 1st 1980, shown here in 2004.

1980 Mack CF (CF686F12-1387) 50′ TeleSqurt 1250 GPM pump and 500 gallon water tank, also ran as Squrt 8.
