Prospect Valley Fire Department
Prospect Valley Volunteer Fire Department (PVVFD), formed in 1947 and located in Jefferson County (Colorado).
Prospect Valley Volunteer Fire Department served the areas east to Independence Street / Kipling Street to Youngfield St. to the west, Clear Creek to the north toward parts of W. 41st Ave & W. 44th Ave, and W. 26th Ave on the south including Applewood, Clear Creek, Kenneys Creek, Lena Gulch, Mountain Shadows & Paramount.
Prospect Valley Fire Department was a member of the Tri-County Volunteer Firemen’s Association.
Prospect Valley Volunteer Fire Department merged with the Wheat Ridge Fire Department in 1971.
