Fire Station is located at 417 E. Broadway Ave. Sheridan Lake Volunteer Fire Department is part of the Kiowa County Fire Protection District (Colorado).

1990 Pierce Lance (E5989) 1500 GPM pump, 1000 gallon water tank and 20 gallons of foam. Former Lafayette Fire Department (Colorado) Engine 2608 and Hudson Fire Protection District (Colorado) Engine 2805. Donated in 2017 from the Hudson Fire Protection District to the fire district.
