Fire Station 31 is located at 168 N. Mesa St in downtown Fruita and was built in 1981 with several remodels, expansions, and face-lifts.

This engine was provided through the Bureau of Land Management Rural Fire Readiness Program, supplying mutual aid partners with retired government equipment.
