Lewis-Arriola Volunteer Fire Department has the only Rescue Dive Team in Montezuma County.

Lewis-Arriola Volunteer Fire Department has mutual-aid agreements with the Cortez Fire Protection District, Dolores Fire Protection District and Pleasant View Fire Department.

Lewis-Arriola Volunteer Fire Department is part of the Tri-State Firemen’s Association.
